Midpoint Module
Reflection
What have you learned?
In this course, I've gained valuable skills in using professional learning networks efficiently and understanding how technology supports continuous development for educators. We also had the opportunity to create an infographic or poster demonstrating the ethical and responsible use of technology in educational settings. A key component of our learning was designing a lesson plan that integrates digital tools. This plan included learner-centered, technology-enhanced activities tailored to diverse learning needs, promoting independent learning. We developed authentic, real-world learning experiences using digital tools to meaningfully engage students and align with content standards. Finally, throughout these assignments, we had the chance to give and receive feedback from peers, allowing us to see our work from different perspectives.
What would you like to learn more about?
As we progress to the second half of this course, I’m excited to explore ways to bring more advanced digital tools into learning, like virtual reality for immersive experiences and AI-based tools that personalize learning paths based on student progress. While these tools can make learning more engaging and personalized, I also want to dive into the ethical side of things. Such as understanding when it's appropriate to use AI in education and how to use it responsibly. For example, I’d find it intriguing to learn how we can balance the benefits of these technologies without taking away from students' ability to think independently or compromising privacy. Exploring both the benefits and limitations will help me use these tools effectively and thoughtfully.
